Studio Om

Nicky Poulin: Co-Owner of “Studio Om”. Began her yoga journey over 7 years ago when ill health had taken over. This is when she discovered the many benefits and the power of yoga which has changed her life dramatically. Nicky is a self described “round body” and has been teaching yoga for over eight years now. She focuses her classes towards the beginner and restorative student. Using lots of props (blocks, straps, bolsters, etc...) to assist her students in achieving their maximum potential and benefit in every pose. Her class also focuses on calming the mind and body to clear away stress and anxiety. This is an excellent class for beginners, someone who is suffering from health issues or someone who is just plain worried about “fitting” in.
Nicky’s goal is to develop and promote a “body friendly” studio that “opens its door and heart” to everyone and anyone who wishes to improve their well being both physically, mentally and spiritually.

Linda Papineau

Linda Papineau: Linda Papineau who was born in North Bay, Ontario, has been certified in NIA (neuromuscular integrative action) since March of 1999 and is committed to sharing this life-giving art with those who are searching for a feel-good way to fitness. Along with earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature, six years experience working with special needs children, and eight years experience as a preschool teacher, Linda is also a busy mother and wife. CPR and first aid certification and continuing education workshops in NIA keep Linda’s instructional qualifications up to date and progressive!

Sally Lang: Reiki Master - In the late eighties Sally was on a journey looking for something more fulfilling to do during her life that would be her work. She studied different religions and participated in workshops and retreats and during some of those retreats she was told that she had a gentle healing touch and that maybe she should find an energy therapy to study. Reiki was mentioned at that time but she was not familiar with the modality and it slipped out of her mind.
On a windy day 1 year later, walking down the street of North Bay, a piece of paper blew toward her and stuck to her coat. When she pulled it off and looked at it, it was a poster for Reiki classes held close by. Without hesitation a date was made for her first Reiki class and that is why she is here now to help others to learn about and experience Reiki

James Cartwright RMT CAT(C): From Collingwod James is an Athletic Therapist, and has his Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Athletic Therapy), and his Bachelor of Science, Honours Kinesiology.
