Nicky Poulin:
Co-Owner of “Studio Om”
began her yoga journey over 7 years ago when ill health had taken over.
This is when she discovered the many benefits and the power of yoga
which has changed her life dramatically. Nicky is a self described
“round body” and has been teaching yoga for over two years now. She
focuses her classes towards the beginner and restorative student. Using
lots of props (blocks, straps, bolsters, etc...) to assist her students
in achieving their maximum potential and benefit in every pose. Her
class also focuses on calming the mind and body to clear away stress and
anxiety. This is an excellent class for beginners, someone who is
suffering from health issues or someone who is just plain worried about
“fitting” in.
Nicky’s goal is to develop and promote a “body friendly” studio that
“opens its door and heart” to everyone and anyone who wishes to improve
their well being both physically, mentally and spiritually.
